Am I thick or just British - or maybe both! Why do you Americans say Happy Holidays? It's a Christian celebration first and foremost. Celebrating Christs birth isn't it? I know we in the UK are Christian based and that is why we have the celebration. You did in America when the settlers came so why are you afraid to say Happy Christmas.
I welcome other religions and that is why I am able to celebrate Christs birth and other beliefs as well.
Oh Lordy, pass me another glass of bubbly sweetie, I'm sinking fast.....

tanie, dude, we're not just celebrating christmas you know, Hanakkah is in its 8th night and Kwanza's got some really good bread (tasty!) and there's a couple other pagan holidays that are pretty neat that fall around Christmas. So no matter which holiday you celebrate...have a HAPPY HOLIDAY!!

Happy and successful New Year CDell. A's and B+'s only!

That we are mostly a Santa Claus- based nation, Happy Holidays! All the holidays! Even the ones not named after holly... the tree with the pointy leaves... that they make the wreaths out of. Holly Days. Traditionally.
