Pattern
I have been noticing something else in the Bush administraion. It seems that a lot of people get fired or quit. There is now an opening for U.S. Attorney General I am off on how many this will make, but we are going through this whole thing again senate confirmation and such. With only a year or so left in this presidency makes you wonder why are does the Administration go through so many people? My theory is that a lot of dirty dealing is going on and when the blame needs to be passed someone loses their job. To be honest who didn't see this coming though. The firing of the 8 others without reason just spurs this kind of beahvior. I have more to say, but I can't use my computer and for a while so any post will be short.

Has the novelty gone and now going downhill?
They actually go through fewer people than they should. Gonzo, Rove and Rummy all stuck around too long, like bad houseguests. The Bushes are known for both giving and expecting loyalty, which is why we were stuck with these fools. I think they should just put the deputy AG in and be done with it. I heard that Tony Snow resigned as well. The rats are fleeing the ship. But I don't know what will be left for us in '08.
I guess you're a little young to remember the Nixon administration. They went through a lot of people.
Then again, I have to ditto what Enemy said. Some of those people should never have been there in the first place, and of those, they all stayed too long.
I chalk it up to a sorta mentality where those that leave do so out of a loyalty--i.e. they're taking one for the team.

There is an old testament scripture about giving our leaders respect because no matter what kind of job they are doing it is a reflection of God's plan in action.
We chose our leaders...
They are a reflection of the state of God's church as it is right now.
We're a pretty pathetic and ugly hearted group aren't we?
